The krew at Low Country Kartway (Aynor, SC) is gearing up for the arrival of AHRMA's VMC Racing Frames National Dirt Track Series (plus a bunch of spectators from Myrtle Beach bike week) on May 16 & 17.  Check out their race flyer and think about joining us for a weekend of racing / spectating / beach sun & fun.

Vintage MX ... Post Vintage MX ... Cross Country ... Trials ...
Short Track ... TT ...
all on one day -- May 24!!!

The weekend after the Aynor SC extravaganza, AHRMA SE Region racers will join us at Aonia Pass for a day of fun in the dirt.

Help us build turnout.  Distribute race flyers to your shops & racer buddies.

We'll need all hands on deck to put on a good set of races -- mark your calendar & be there to help make the day a success.

Oh, I neglected to mention that GERA has scheduled a new dirt track event on June 7 at Thunder Valley.  That was originally the date of the Bulls Gap Grand National race, but Bulls Gap has disappeared from the AMA schedule, so GERA grabbed the date.  Same format as previous Thunder Valley events -- AMA amateur program with AHRMA SE support classes.  Right on!

A SE TT event was also added at Baker Florida -- on November 2.  It is part of the two -- now three -- race weekend being billed as the national dirt trackers' end-of-year wrap-up weekend.  (The Southeast DT schedule doesn't wrap up until the following weekend -- November 8 -- at Aonia Pass.)

See www.southeastdt.com for the revised schedule.

The June club meeting will be held on June 4 at Athens Pizza in Decatur.  Members begin to arrive around 6:30 and the meeting usually starts around 7:30.

Athens Pizza is located at 1341 Clairmont Road just north of North Decatur Road.  If you get lost, their phone number is 404-636-1100.

If you are interested in learning more about the club and our activities, join us at one of our meetings.

We received a note about an Indian being auctioned by the Lumpkin County Sheriff's department. Don't know if it is for real, but it might be an interesting auction.

The club has received several notices of upcoming local motorcycle shows.  Most are fundraisers, but we thought you might be interested in opportunities to hop on your scoot & see what others are doing.  Here are links to the information.

Bill Ryburn put together a good report on the Bremen SEVMX event that took place on March 16.  Check it out here.

Considering going to the GNC races in Tennessee on June 21 (Maryville)?  I feel a road ride coming on!  (The Bulls Gap race is no longer on the AMA schedule.)

A group from the club is planning to be in Indianapolis for the GNC / MotoGP weekend September 13 & 14.  If you're thinking about tagging along, consider reserving a room early.  Crowds should be huge.
