Dahlonega Bike Auction

This was received from one of our readers on 4/24/08:

Hi Bill,

An interesting bike is coming up for auction in Dahlonega.

The local Sheriff confiscated this bike in a drug case.

Paperwork is done, and they're going to auction it off JUNE 14th, at 10:00 a.m..

I do not know if they'll take telephone bidding- should probably have a rep. on site, or be there in person.

It's probably cash on the barrel head, which is normal (cash, cashiers check, etc.)

Please don't ask me questions about it. I don't know if it runs or if it's show/go quality.

I don't see anything on the web site about the forthcoming auction- but he did say it was okay to let interested parties know about the sale. "Pass it on to anyone who may be interested in getting a vintage Indian."

Maybe somebody in the ATL MC club might want to take a shot at it.
