Chairman Goman brought the meeting to order.
Membership dues are due.
The 2007 AHRMA Southeast dirt track awards banquet will be held at noon on January 19th at Chateau Elan. Cost of the banquet is $23 (cash) per person payable to Beno when you arrive. There is no charge for children 5 and under.
Four Aonia Pass race weekends will be held in 2008: April 12, May 24, October 4, and November 8 - 9. AHRMA regional motocross, cross country, trials, and dirt track will held each of these weekends, plus the Premier & Classic event is scheduled for the November 8 - 9 weekend. Beno is hopeful that the dirt track will be lighted this year.
Vote today!! Beno needs your vote for the AHRMA board, and Charles for the AMA board. AHRMA ballots must be in AHRMA's offices January 16.
The Atlanta Motorcycle Show is scheduled for January 18, 19, & 20 at the World Congress Center.
British Motorcar Day is scheduled for May 17 this year. It will be the 25th anniversary of the event, and the British Motorcar Club has invited all British bike owners to attend and participate. The BMC is expecting 400 - 500 British cars.
The Premier & Classic series is having 3 events this year, one of which is being held at Aonia Pass.
A group from the club is planning to be in Indianapolis for the GNC / MotoGP weekend September 13 & 14. If you're thinking about tagging along, consider reserving a room early. Crowds should be huge.
Gordon Campbell & Leo Stinnett were submitted to a membership vote, and approved. Welcome to the club, guys!!
The next meetings will be on February 7 and March 12.
