The Barber Motorsports Museum.
The museum contains a mouth-watering collection of motorcycles ...
... displayed on four floors, plus a special displays floor where Saturday night's auction was held.
Barber also displays a small collection of cars -- mostly competition cars.
Springer's XR750 greets you as you enter the display area.
Several versions of Dan Gurney's recumbent motorcycle are on display, topped by a 1950 Vincent Grey Flash.
A 1952 Norton Manx
A 1962 Honda CR 110
A 1915 Harley Davidson with a buggy. Hmmm, wonder if I could hook the buggy up to my Harley?
If you tire of looking at motorcycles, you can watch road racing activities from museum windows.
A 1920 Militor. Note the wood spoke wheels.
A pristine 1975 Bultaco Astro 360
A 1974 Triumph / Trackmaster with a nice ARD ignition unit.
A 1962 CL 72 Honda Scrambler
A 1932 Indian Model 403 with a four cylinder engine. It was the Gold Wing of its day.
When you tire of the museum, the track offers lots of areas where you can sit and watch road racing action. The weather Saturday was great.
The Vintage Motocross event was held in a picturesque location Sunday. The track was a bit sloppy due to heavy rains Saturday night, but it was the most vintage-like track I've seen.
Larry Stahl (red shirt to the left) & crew flagged the races. Mat Benson (white shirt just behind Larry) captured lots of pictures for Vintage Views.
Bob Adams churns to the finish line.
... followed by Dave Aldana.
Dave finally found a dryer route.
Charles Goman awaits his start.
Rhett Smith leads the pack away from the second and third turn after the start. I doubt Brett took time out to enjoy the Barber landscaping at this moment, but the spectators did.
Andy Blackburn & Claude McElvain lead the pack.
See what I mean about picturesque? Andy Blackburn and Claude McElvain hold their lead.

The first of a three shot series. Note the effort by Bruce Rounsaville (9J) to avoid rear ending Dave Aldana.
He "steps" off his bike ...
... and does a face plant. Bruce was not injured & continued the race.
Rhett Smith leads Bob Speiss, Robert Von Smith, and Dave Aldana across a picture post-card setting.
Rhett Smith and Dave Aldana approach the downhill off-camber turn behind Bob Speiss.
Now Dave leads Rhett in the chase for Bob ...

The +60 crew leaves the starting line. Riders include Joseph Maher (92), Bill Goldsby (39), Teddy Landers (62), Bob Adams (139), 14E, Wayne Garrison (581), and David Dean (78P).
