Aonia Pass Race Weeekend
November 5 - 7, 2010
Our 2010 season finale was a success. 159 entries participated in night enduro, trials, dirt track, premier & classic, and cross country events Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Weather was wonderful all three days, albeit a trifle chilly (OK, it was cold) Friday and Saturday nights. The Saturday race program moved along quickly enough that those not staying for the Sunday events were able to head home by 8:30pm.
Thanks to all who joined us for the weekend's racing, and to all who pitched in to make the racing successful. We appreciate your support.
Notice: Due to expected cold weather Saturday night, we will start the short track event as soon as possible after the TT is completed Saturday afternoon rather than wait until 5:00PM.
If you are planning to camp Friday or Saturday night, bring your woolies. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low 30s at night.
Our 2010 Aonia Pass season finale is scheduled for November 5 - 7. The weekend is full of racing, so join us for one last weekend before you put your ride away for the winter.
Friday night brings our signature night enduro hosted by Charles "Go Go" Goman. Saturday racing includes two rounds of the VMC Racing Frames National Dirt Track series -- the Ted Hubbard / David Cornelison Memorial Short Track and TT -- and the last round in the 2010 Speed and Sport National Trials Series. Sunday racing includes the final event in the 2010 Works Performance Premier & Classic National Motocross Series followed by a southeast region cross country event.
